To be considered for credit you must meet the following criteria:
- Be over 18 and employed.
- Have a good credit history with no late payments, debt relief orders, CCJ’s.
- Be a permanent UK resident able to supply a UK address history for the last 3 years.
Meeting the criteria does not guarantee acceptance.
If your application is accepted, a deposit of 10% must be paid.
You will need to provide 2 forms of identification either:
- Valid Full UK Driving licence
- A passport
- Bank statement related to the account used for the finance application, which needs to show name and address, be dated within the last 3 months and be an original, not a photocopy or a printout from the internet.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY?
Our application form typically only takes a few minutes to complete. Your application is then instantly sent to the finance company and they will typically respond with their decision in as little as 15 minutes. Some applications may take longer to process. If for any reason we can’t give you an instant decision you will be notified as part of the application process in person or by e-mail for on-line applications, with a follow up e-mail as soon as a decision is confirmed.
WILL THE FINANCE COMPANY PERFORM A CREDIT CHECK?
Yes. A credit check forms part of the decision making process.
DO I NEED A BANK ACCOUNT?
Yes. You must have a UK bank account that can facilitate Direct Debits.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes. If your credit application is accepted, you will be required to pay a deposit of 10% or 50% if you decide to choose to pay for your tattoo over a 6-12 month period with 0% APR.
HOW WILL THE TATTOO BE PRICED?
Each tattoo will be priced per piece and therefore be a fixed cost. This will be agreed with the tattoo artist following the consultation.
We are also able to offer finance for a fixed number of sessions e.g. 4 sessions. This then gives you flexibility on the work that you want. If additional sessions are required you can book them in to meet your requirements.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM PRICE FOR FINANCE?
The minimum is £350 of which you will need to provide a 10% deposit.
WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE THE DESIGN OF MY TATTOO BEFORE THE 1ST SESSION OR BETWEEN SESSIONS?
If you wish to change the tattoo before the 1st session we will adapt the design accordingly. If the design changes lead to a change in price, we will adapt the finance agreement subject to approval.
If you decide to change the design between multiple sessions it wont be possible to alter the repayments. Additional work can of course be carried out through an alternative finance agreement or payment methods.
WHAT APR WILL I BE CHARGED?
The APR is shown clearly on the credit summary throughout the application process. It is also shown on the credit agreement itself.
WHAT RATES ARE AVAILABLE AND HOW LONG CAN I SPREAD THE COST?
We are able to offer 0% apr over a period of 6, 9, 10 or 12 months.
HOW DO I REPAY THE LOAN?
Your monthly repayments are collected by Direct Debit.
CAN THE DATE OF THE DIRECT DEBIT BE CHANGED?
Yes, once the customer has been notified of their payment date they can call the Customer Service Team on 0333 240 8317.
HOW MUCH DOES THE LOAN COST?
The total cost of the loan is shown on the finance agreement.
HOW LONG BEFORE I START REPAYING THE LOAN?
The first payment is typically due 30 days following the date of your 1st tattoo.
CAN I REPAY THE LOAN EARLY?
You have the right to repay your loan early in full or in part. If you wish to repay any amount early, you must give written notice to us at: Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited, Oak House, Reeds Crescent, Watford, WD24 4QP.
There are no early repayment fees.
CAN I CANCEL MY CREDIT AGREEMENT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
If this agreement was made exclusively using a means of distance communication (i.e. by post, telephone, email or online), you will have a right to cancel the agreement for a short time after the agreement is made. You can do this by telephoning us on 0333 240 8317 or writing to us at Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited, Oak House, Reeds Crescent, Watford, WD24 4QP. The cancellation period starts on the date of this agreement and ends on the expiry of 14 days beginning with the later of, the day after this agreement was made or, the day after the day on which you receive this agreement and all the terms.
If you cancel this agreement during the cancellation period, we will refund any sum paid by you as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of the date in which we receive notice that you wish to cancel this agreement. You will be required to return any goods delivered to you under this agreement to the Retailer within the same period. We may charge you for any service you have received under this agreement prior to you exercising your right to cancel. This will be an amount which is proportionate to the service actually provided.
If you do not exercise your right to cancel during the cancellation period, this agreement will continue in accordance with the terms.
CAN A 3RD PARTY COMPLETE THE FINANCE ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE?
The person taking out the finance/applying for the finance will be responsible for making the re-payments, so for example, if the Father is applying for finance and accepted, it is the Father who is responsible for making the re-payments.
